Thank you for supporting Campbell woodworks, a small part-time woodworking business creating handmade wooden items.

This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns and refunds.


1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Distance Selling Regulations)

If you are purchasing as a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

2. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging where possible

  • You must provide proof of purchase

You are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless it is faulty.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.


3. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Items made to your specifications

Additionally, please note:

Because all items are handmade from natural wood, variations in grain, colour, or shape are not considered defects and are not valid reasons for return.


4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Please contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Provide photos of the damage

If approved, we will offer:

  • A replacement (where possible), or

  • A full refund (including original shipping costs)

We will also cover return shipping costs for faulty items.


5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of the outcome

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 days

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.


6. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty


7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  • Check your bank account again

  • Contact your payment provider
